I hope I am not beating a dead horse, but I too wanted to report my good experiences in Junction City this past week.
We had a long list of mostly minor house and chassis issues resolved, including a few that have alluded several other technicians. We had the oil and transmission fluids and filters changed, and the brakes and suspension system inspected. We also had the Hydro-Hot fuel lines replaced — the generator lines failed two years ago and the Hydro-Hot lines were on borrowed time. They even found two items (a roof leak and a hydraulic line leak) of which we were unaware and which could have become serious problems.
We also bought a few items at the “Apparel Store.” As has been reported previously, there are some really good bargains here (and on the website) — I got a very nice lined jacked for only $40 — I’ve seen similar ones for over $100.
We spent three nights in the parking lot with electricity. The trains did not bother us, although I could understand how some could find them a problem.
The total bill was about half of what I feared it might have been. These guys really resolved some issues quickly. My wife and I were very satisfied with the experience.
I am very please that Ron Lee has made this commitment to reestablish factory support, service and parts. They need our support to be successful and my wife and I were delighted to have given them our business.
