We have had our 2002 Affinity in the CCC service facility in Junction City OR the last 3 days. We are more than happy with the way we were treated, our coach was serviced, and the cost was less than we expected. We saved a few nagging issues and questions that no one seemed to be able to answer for us for the last 20 months we have owned our coach. Inverter issues, Silverleaf problems, tire pressure and what is it really supposed to be, does our coach drive like it is supposed to, why does our fan stir up a dust storm, and so on.
I know this is a fairly new operation, but they already have skilled people who know what they are doing. There were a number of other coaches in there getting work done too.
We also were told plans / hopes by their sales manager to get orders for and make 25 new coaches next year. In addition Ron Lee took the time to talk a bit about his company. They also have unbeatable deals on Country Coach branded shirts, hats, aprons, water bottles, sweatshirts, and a bunch of other things. My advice is to stock up now on the branded stuff as they bought a bunch at at low prices from previous owners and when that is gone I expect prices will go back to normal. I am currently wearing a very nice CCC T shirt I paid ten bucks for. And we got a bunch of other CCC items too.
There has been talk back and forth about CCC or OMC and we picked CCC because we had never been to the factory before. We have had a very good, actually excellent experience. With all the plans to build new coaches work out, who knows. I hope so. Ron is talking about hybrid drive the second year of manufacture, which sounds like the best idea I have heard for a large motor home to get the miles per gallon up.
