JUNCTION CITY — Ron Lee, owner of Country Coach Corp. in JC, has set his goals high and is diversifying to ensure that those goals will be met. His current goals for the business include making certain Country Coach is around for the coach owners even if he’s not, and to save the 34-acre industrial property with more than 250,000-square-feet of factories.
Aside from a goal of ensuring local jobs, Lee is currently in talks with other various manufacturers to attain the diversity he feels will give the business a broader and more stable foundation.
It’s absolutely essential in today’s world,” Lee said.
So far, he has rehired 16 of his former employees who have 400 years combined experience in the industry.
“If these people can’t do it, nobody can,” Lee said.
His ultimate goal is to restart the manufacture of Country Coaches.
Right now, Lee’s company is doing all types of coach services, with a focus on furnishing OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts for all Country Coaches.
“We are capable of doing any repair or replacement job, up to and including manufacturing a complete Country Coach,” Lee said.
